Helping Lincolnshire Limited
Peter Nicholls is a retired environmental health officer, a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Member and tutor. He studied Environmental Health at the city of Cape Town Technikon in South Africa and earned the National Diploma in Public Health and registration with the SA Medical and Dental Council. He worked in Cape Town before emigrating to the United Kingdom. As a British Citizen he worked for the London Borough of Redbridge whilst undergoing conversion training by the CIEH and was awarded the CIEH Diploma in Environmental Health (awarded once you have BSc and passed professional competence examinations and log book). He moved to Humberside and worked for Scunthorpe Borough Council which later became North Lincolnshire Council. He did a teaching course and became a CIEH tutor and taught both inhouse and at North Linsey College. His last local government posting was Barrow in Furness before retiring. During his working career he has done much charitable work and was a board member and secretary of the Forge Project Limited for 7 years before joining Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire as a board member. He currently holds directorships of two companies, Myton Community College and Helping Lincolnshire Limited.
